Die Lincoln University bei Christchurch ist eine der traditonsreichsten Universitäten des Landes. Innovative, an der aktuellen Forschung orientierte Lehre in Kombination mit viel Praxiseinsätzen während des Studiums machen die Absolventen der Lincoln University auf dem Arbeitsmarkt begehrt.
Bunte Mischung: Fast die Hälfte der Studierenden an der Lincoln University kommen aus Übersee und vertreten so mehr als 55 Ländern - damit ist die Lincoln University eine der internationalsten Universitäten des Landes.
Die Universität bietet Bachelor- und Masterprogramme im Bereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Agrikultur und Umweltwissenschaften, Naturwissenschaften, Sozial- und Gesellschaftswissenschaften und IT an.
Schwerpunkt an der Lincoln University auf Neuseelands Südinsel sind ganz klar die Umweltwissenschaften, insbesondere die Agrarwissenschaften. Auch Weinbau kann hier studiert werden. Die meisten Studiengänge sind interdisziplinär angelegt - so kombiniert z.B. der Bachelor of Commerce wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Know-How mit einem Schwerpunktfach Agrikultur.
Der Campus der Universität vereint das Beste aus studentisch geprägtem Kultur- und Nightlife im 20 Autominuten entfernten Christchurch und einer tollen Landschaft rund um den Campus, die zu zahlreichen Ausflügen in Neuseelands schöne Natur und zu Outdooraktivitäten einlädt.
