des Department of International Politics und die School of
Management and Business.
Politikwissenschaftler fühlen sich hier besonders wohl: 1919 wurde an der Aberystwyth University weltweit das erste Institut für Internationale Beziehungen gegründet - heute ist es eines der größten in Europa.
Überzeugend ist auch die Lage der Universität: In Aberystwyth gibt es Meerblick mit Sonnenuntergang, der überschaubare, familiäre Campus der Universität liegt eingebettet in einer malerischen Umgebung an der Westküste von Wales in der Cardigan Bay - hier kann man auch schon mal Delphine aus dem Wasser springen sehen. Die studentisch geprägte Stadt Aberystwyth bietet ein lebendige Kunst- und Musikszene und sorgt so für die nötige Abwechslung im Studentenleben.
Übrigens: 1970/71 besuchte der britische Thronfolger Charles als erster Prince of Wales die Aberystwyth University, um sich Kenntnisse der walisischen Sprache anzueignen.
